A student of the theatre, Justine graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree, Theatre Arts from Brock University. It was her curiosity to study others that enticed her to work within the recruitment industry as a Talent Acquisition Specialist where she was driven to discover what made people tick through the analysis of human behaviour. She became an expert in behavioural based interviews which led her to recruit for a Fortune One company, Walmart Canada. Her natural ability to lead as a cultural ambassador, however, was quickly discovered and she embraced the opportunity to become their Corporate Events Planner. Highly successful in leading and engaging teams to execute on delivering national conferences, she was featured in Walmart World's Magazine (2019) as a global, cultural ambassador for their largest global event, Associates Week / Shareholders.
Justine's curiosity combined with an abundance of energy inspired her take on side projects to assist other areas of the business. She was particularly drawn to support Walmart's Video Production team where she felt instantly at home. Intuitively molding her theatrical skills for the camera, she became Walmart Canada's On-Camera Host for “Live on the Blue Carpet" during their national Awards show (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020), as well as their On-Camera Host for "All Access", a video web series, and starred in WMC TV videos to relay operations content in fun and engaging ways on a national scale (2016-2018). Multifaceted, she enjoyed recording Voice Overs for WMC TV and cultural videos shown on a global scale within the Walmart World, as well, she was featured in digital and print photography for Walmart's learning platforms, website and onboarding packages (2016-2020).
In 2020, she pivoted out of the corporate world and joined The Porter Group Talent Agency to focus on her passion for acting with complete dedication. Justine now shares her sense of excitement, energetic enthusiasm and playful abandon for life through projects that inspire, motivate and challenge others on how they perceive and experience the world and their relationships with others. Justine has appeared in TV Commercials, Short Films and with Rogers Sports & Media as a freelance Fashion Guest Expert appearing on Today's Shopping Choice, Live On-Air National Television, representing premium fashion apparel on live TV. She has become the brand ambassador for Lattelove, appearing alongside host Jeanne Beker on her show “Style Matters with Jeanne Beker” a nationally broadcast destination show, and has also represented many designer fashion lines, including: Brain Bailey, Molly Bracken, H Halston, Judith & Charles, LaMarque, Lola Jeans, Paper Label, Tamga, Preloved, Shannon Passero, Astrid, Mauritius and Mephisto Shoes.
When not filming on set, or live at the TSC studio, Justine is always auditioning and concentrating on enhancing her craft through training with The Second City and LB Acting Studio. She cherishes spending time with her family and loves to spoil them with cooking savory meals to feed their souls. She stays centered through meditation, yoga, hiking and tending to her garden of green beans, cucumbers, and beefsteak tomatoes.
